High School : 5:45 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.

Arrival/Dismissal Times:
Lincoln: 8:00 a.m. doors open/ 3:10 p.m. dismissal
Harding: 8:00 a.m. doors open/ 3:10 p.m. dismissal
Central: 8:00 a.m. doors open (classes from 8:25 a.m.-3:10 p.m.)
Junior High: 7:35 a.m./2:45 p.m. (classes from 8:00 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.)
High School: 7:50 a.m. doors open (classes from 8:10-a.m.-3:04 p.m.)

*August 20th-September 3rd all schools will use the 2:00 p.m. dismissal schedule.  Dismissal times during August and September could be earlier based upon weather conditions and the temperature inside classrooms.


The following guidance is based on updated CDC guidance for COVID-19 prevention in K-12 schools and the State of Illinois updated Executive Order. Executive Order 2021-18 requires that masks be worn indoors by all teachers, staff, students, and visitors to P-12 schools, regardless of vaccination status.


All persons, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a face mask at all times when in transit to and from school via group conveyance (e.g., school buses), unless a specific exemption applies. This is in accordance with the CDC Order, in effect as of February 1, 2021, which requires “the wearing of masks by people on public transportation conveyances or on the premises of transportation hubs to prevent the spread of the virus that causes COVID-19.”


Students and staff who have symptoms of infectious illness, such as influenza (flu) or COVID-19, should stay home. Symptoms include (fever, loss of taste/smell, sore throat, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea and/or body aches). The State of Illinois requires all public and nonpublic schools to comply with contact tracing, in combination with isolation and quarantine, as directed by state and local public health departments. Students and staff who are COVID-19 positive will quarantine as directed by the health department. Per IDPH/ISBE guidance, local health departments are the final authority on identifying close contacts.

Quarantine Student Schedules:

Per the student handbook, student assignments will be made available to complete for any days missed. Classroom platforms such as Google Classroom or Seesaw may also be used to make these assignments available. There will not be live lessons for students.

Screening (BINAXNow) Testing:

Parents should keep their children home from school if they are sick or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19. Symptoms include (fever, loss of taste/smell, sore throat, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea and/or body aches). Parents can voluntarily request COVID-19 screening testing (BINAX Now) for their students by contacting the school’s health care professional. COVID-19 screening testing may also be available at the Warren County Health Department.


Students will receive their chromebook on the first day of school.  Please notify the school office and/or your student’s teacher with any technology issues.


To begin the school year, breakfast will be sent home at the end of the day for consumption at home the next morning. During lunch, students will maintain 3 feet of distance and continue to follow safety procedures per current guidance.

Communication: *A main source of communication for M-R staff will be email.  Parents/guardians please check your email frequently.*Information (phone number/email) in Tyler will be used to contact families.
